4 Wheel Lock Picking
by: Navyflyer UK

I've picked this lock many times in the bike shed at school and swapped them onto other bikes.
Here's the lowdown. With the lock in the fully locked position, try to pull the lock apart. Then rotate the furthest combination wheel from the shank. As you reach the correct hidden alignment the wheel will become loose. Watch closley as you do this. Then do the next wheel along and so on until the last combination wheel is reached. As you slowly rotate the last wheel to the correct alingnment the lock will spring open. Bingo !! Job Done.

Wish I could have a go
by: Artist54

Hi,
I wish I could have a try with that lock myself! When you pull the hasp do the wheels move? If you pull the hasp and pick one wheel that moves, change its number. Keep repeating when no wheels move lock might be on right number. Works with cheap locks. Obviously I've never had a go at your lock.
Good luck and best wishes,
Artist54

Or use a pick
by: inthedark

The pic's a little fuzzy, but you should be able to insert a standard hook lockpick into the space at the top of the 3rd or 4th wheel with the hook pointed toward the shackle. Then just move the head of the pick toward the shackle while pressing down on the shackle with your thumb. Takes a little practice, but once you get it it takes less time than dialing in the combo.

hope this helps

It's 10000 combinations, not 9999 (0000-9999). But that doesn't matter, if your padlock is open like in the picture, you can reset it by turning the shackle backwards and pushing it down - you then turn the wheels to your new number. If it's closed, put tension on the shackle by pulling it and turn the wheels one by one until you hear a click or feel the shackle move. You'll have it open in no time.
